Design Specifications:

1. The devices body housing is made of a poly alloy (ABS) material blend and mixed with UV inhibitors chosen for its durability to the weather extremes and giving it an added protection and resistance to the types of damage commonly caused by the sun (i.e. drying/cracking/fading).
2. The spring chosen is stamped in stainless steel making it water resistant and rust/corrosion proof. In addition the spring has a (5) lbs. tension pull setting, making it strong enough to keep the wires off of the ground, but to weak to unplug the connectors of the truck and trailer when in use.
3. The device does not use any contacts or brushes, the device makes all of the electrical connection through one continuous loop of wire configured using a “Transversing Wire Loop,” to remove any unnecessary stress or tension on the existing wires during use.
4. The devices are molded in just one color (BLACK) unless a special order is placed requiring a full production run.

When mounting the device it is not necessary to splice or cut the pre-existing wires, causing damage to the integrity of the electrical connection. Instead the excess wiring can be secured by attaching a clamp or bracket to contain the pre-existing wires to the bottom of the vehicle (trailer or truck frame).
